In America, 1.5 million children (1 in 49) currently have an incarcerated parent.

This incarceration has an impact on a child’s mental health, social behavior, and educational prospects and children have been found to experience emotional problems, nightmares, fighting in school and a decline in academic performance as a result of being separated due to their mother or father’s incarceration. Through assessment and effective care and counseling, it is our aim to minimize the impact and provide alternative solutions that will strengthen the lives of youth who suffer from having an incarcerated parent.

36.6 of all marriages in the US end in divorce. Roughly one in two children will see their parent’s marriage breakup and 21% of children are being raised without their fathers in America. Unfortunately, children are more likely to experience behavior issues when parents divorce when the child is between the age of 7 and 14 and children with divorced parents are twice as likely to end up dropping out of high school. Rei’L provides therapeutic intervention, care, mentoring, and other services to these youth.

An intimate partner in the United States physically abuses nearly 20 people per minute. During one year, this adds up to more than 10 million women and men. This has a huge impact on the safety and well being of children and families throughout the United States of America. In America, more than 500,000 youth are incarcerated annually. The Juvenile recidivism rate is 76% and 40% will end up in adult prisons. There are more than 2 million people in adult prisons with a national recidivism rate of 77%. Rei’L Worldwide offers services necessary to decrease recidivism in both youth and adults. Rei’L Worldwide also fosters positive relationships with national organizations to ensure effective and successful transitioning of youth and adults returning to society after incarceration.

In the United States of America, Drugs and Alcoholism addiction cause approximately 88,000 deaths annually. This is an alarming statistic. Consequently, the actions of the addicted individual affect not only themselves, but also their family and friends. According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, a consumption increase of 1 liter of alcohol per capita brings about an increase in the divorce rate of about 20%. To address the issue of Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Rei’L Worldwide does not only have a 24-hour Crisis Line and house a team of experienced therapeutic professionals on call, but Rei’L Worldwide has also partnered with Substance Abuse Counselors, Substance Abuse Treatment Centers, and Rehabilitation Centers throughout the United States of America
